Northern Geomantics specializes in custom GIS Internet and desktop application development with an emphasis on tools for integrating spatial data, map display and spatial queries into enterprise-wide systems. NGI has been a leader in Web-enabled application development since the earliest days of Internet mapping, and also provides a complete range of GIS consulting services including: user needs assessments, system design and implementation, and spatial analysis and mapping.
NGI and the Internet
Northern Geomantics' primary focus is Internet mapping development using ArcIMS technology and ArcWeb Services. These services run the gamut from simple display of a client's geographic data on a public Internet site to advanced, secure interactive editing over the Web. NGI has been involved in ArcIMS and ArcWeb Services beta-testing programs at ESRI and has developed many tools to make setting up an Internet mapping site quick, easy and painless.
Our History
Northern Geomantics was founded in 1995 with the goal of providing superior GIS services to state and federal natural resource management agencies. Since then, the list of industries served by Northern Geomantics has expanded to include utilities, transportation, telecommunications, insurance, health care and homeland security.
